Kuehn, William (19 January 1873 - 21 November 1956) 
 

William F. Kuehn, 83, of Neillsville, Rt. 4, died Wednesday at the home of his son, Wesley Kuehn, in the Town of Grant. 
 

Funeral services, in charge of the Georgas Funeral Home, were conducted Saturday from the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church. The Rev. Virgil Holmes officiated. Burial was made in the Town of Grant Cemetery.  
 

Mr. Kuehn was born January 19, 1873, at Princeton to William and Wilhelmina (Fadtke) Kuehn. He received his education in the schools of Green County.  He helped with the farm work on his parents’ farm, and later worked in a meat market at Berlin.  On March 30, 1904, he was married to Ella Bandt at Coloma. Following their marriage they moved to Ripon, where they farmed until 1925, when they moved to Neillsville.  Mr. Kuehn farmed and hauled milk from this time until 1936.  For the past two years he had been in poor health. 
 

He is survived by his wife and the following children: Harry Kuehn, Granton, Rt. 2; George Kuehn, Neillsville; Mrs. Chester (Mamie) Johnson, Laddie Kuehn, Mrs. Casper (Hazel Bruley, all of Chippewa Falls; William G. Kuehn, North Hollywood, Cal.; Wesley Kuehn, on the home farm.  Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. William A. Bell of Milwaukee and one brother, Henry Kuehn of Elmhurst, Ill., 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 
 

He was a member of the Methodist Church. 
 

Pallbearers were: Lester, Gerald, and Russell Kuehn, Darrell Hohenstein, Robert and Vernon Drescher. 
 

H. Randolph Briggs and Miss Audrey Kuehn, soloists, were accompanied by Miss Carol Peterson. 
 

Out of town people attending included: William Kuehn, North Hollywood, Cal., Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kuehn, Granton; Mrs. Chester Johnson, Mrs. Hulda Johnson, Miss Audrey Kuehn, Mr. and Mrs. Casper Bruley, Mr. and Mrs. Laddie Kuehn, all of Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kuehn, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Kuehn, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wille, Agnes Kuehn, Clarence Kuehn, all of Ripon; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Roehl, Mrs. Minnie King, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert King and Mrs. Ida King, Mr. and Mrs. William Bandt, Alvin King, all of Coloma, Wis.; Fred Bandt and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Schliepp, Westfield, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. William Lentz, Beverly and Richard Lee, Oxford, Wis.
