Moore, Bergie (4 July 1873 - 22 December 1956) 
 

Bergie Moore, 83, of Rt. 2, Humbird, died Saturday afternoon in Neillsville as a result of old age complications.  He had been ill for several years. 
 

Mr. Moore was born July 4, 1873, at Dickeyville, Mich.  He resided in that area until 1922, when he moved to Trempealeau County. He was married in 1922 to Mrs. Ella Anderson at Osseo.  Following their marriage they lived in the Town of Sommers, Trempealeau County, until 1939.  They then moved to the Town of Mentor.  He also resided in Eau Claire for a short time.  Mr. Moore was a member of the Church of Later Day Saints of Eau Claire. 
 

Surviving him are two step-daughters: Mrs. Evelyn Castner of Humbird, and Mrs. Rose Smith of Eau Claire. 
 

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Bergemann Funeral home.  Elder Eldred Schroeder, pastor of the Church of Latter Day Saints, officiated.  Burial was made in the Town of Mentor Cemetery.
