Henchen, Elaine (Marriage - 22 December 1956) 
 

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Milwaukee was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Elaine Henchen, 2490 W. Hopkins, Milwaukee, and David H. Sinner of 5018 N. 38th Street Milwaukee. The Rev. John Demler officiated at the double ring ceremony which 25 guests attended.  
 

Parents of the couple are Mrs. Imogene Henchen, Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. David Sinner of Milwaukee. 
 

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Louis Henchen of Neillsville. She wore a white brocade princess style street length dress.  A corsage of whie orchids and carnations was pinned to her shoulder line. 
 

Miss Eileen Henchen, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor.  George Sinner, brother of the groom was best man.  William Sinner ushered. 
 

Following the ceremony a reception for 55 guests was held at the home of the grooms’ parents.  Upon their return from a wedding trip to Madison the young couple will reside a t1913 N. 24th Street Milwaukee. 
 

The ride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School with the class of 1949, and has been employed as a secretary at an insurance company in Milwaukee.  The groom is a graduate of the Custer High School of Milwaukee with the class of 1944, and of the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in 1952.  He is a lawyer and is a member of the Lions, Gamma Eta Gamma Fraternity, and the Masons.  He also served in the Navy. 
 

Out of town relatives attending were: Mrs. Imogene Henchen, mother of the bride, Louis A. Henchen, brother and Miss Eileen Henchen , sister of the bride, all of Neillsville.
