Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth
Brown, 70, were held Sunday afternoon from Grace Methodist Church.
The Rev. Ethel Nulton officiated. Burial was made in the
Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Thursday afternoon in the
Neillsville Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for
several months. She had been in poor health for several
years.
Mrs. Brown, nee Elizabeth Bertha Kruzer,
was born January 27, 1886, in Wheaton, Minn. She was married
on December 9, 1907, at Loyal to Bert George Brown. After
their marriage they resided her until 1929, when they moved to
Ojibwa, where Mr. Brown died, August 11, 1938. Shortly after
his death Mrs. Brown and her children returned here, where she has
since resided.
She is survived by the following
children: Loren of Fargo, N.D.; Mrs. George (Irene) Kielshcski, and
Gordon of Bergland, Mich.; Bert of Greenwood; and Neil, at home;
also by two sisters, Mrs. Emma Kelley of Moorhead, Minn., and Mrs.
Anna New Coop of Billings, Mont.; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Arthur Buker, Greg Rogelio, Elmer Stafford; Dave Reese; Thomas Erickson and Dave Thwing. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Dunn accompanied by June Bredesen sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "God Leads His Dear Children Along."
