Kepke, Anna #3 (1879? - 15 OCT 1955)
The Rev. Charles Koch officiated at the funeral rites Oct. 19 at the West Side Evangelical and Reformed Church at Greenwood for Mrs. Anna Fenz Kepke, 76, who died Oct. 15, 1955 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
During the services two selection, "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Does Jesus Care?" were sung by a choir consisting of Walter Schwarze, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Kippenhan, Paul Humke, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Franz, Mrs. Delmar Toburen, Otto Fravert, Mrs. Phillip Vollrath and Mrs. George Humke. Mrs. Walter Schwarze played the organ accompaniment.
Serving as pallbearers were Otto Windom, Fred Kimpretch, Joseph Gregorich, Ed Maass, Joe Mikottis and Roy Rossman.
Out of towners at the funeral were Mrs. Maude Shortess, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shortess, Spencer; Warren Fenz and Miss Ruby Fenz, Watertown; Mrs. Ida Kerstell, Mrs. Ralph Weisser, Rosendale; Mrs. Henry Hoethusen, Mrs. Clara Kepke, Miss Eleanor Clary, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Grover Heisig, Otto Heisig, Mrs. Arnie Pribbnow, De Forest; Mrs. Agnes Clarey, Sun Prairie, Mrs. Elmer Wolff, Neenah, and Mrs. Frieda Shell, Loyal.
