Kroll, Anna (8 June 1870 - 7 January 1957) 
 

Mrs. C. C. (Anna) Kroll, 86, of Neillsville, Rt. 3, died Monday morning at the Neillsville Nursing Home.  Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Christie.  Burial will take place in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

The body is reposing at the Georgas Funeral Home and will be taken to the church Thursday noon to repose until time of services. 
 

Mrs. Kroll, the former Anna Boege, was the daughter of the late Jacob and Fredericke Boege, and was born June 8, 1870, in Germany.  She received her education in the schools of Germany.  She came to the United States in 1894, locating in Illinois.  On February 19, 1895, she was married to Carl C. Kroll at Decatur, Ill. Following their marriage they farmed near Decatur for eleven years. 
 

In 1905 they came to Clark County and located on their present farm in the Town of Weston. 
 

For the past year she had been in failing health.  She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Christie. 
 

Three children survive; they are, Henry Kroll, on the home farm; Edward C. Kroll, Neillsville, Rt. 4; Mrs. Elsa Radue, Wausau; a brother, Marcus Boege, Denmark; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

The Rev. H. F. Brauer, pastor of the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Christie, officiated Thursday afternoon at services for Mrs. C. C. Kroll.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

Pallbearers were: Archie Timerson, Dan and Donald Acheson, Frank Zickert, Chester Turville and Alvin Jacob. 
 

Out of Town relatives here for the rites were: Mrs. Elsa Radue, Mrs. Gordon Kemps, Wausau; Mrs. Gregor Wolf, Marathon; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Radue, Miss Mary Ellen Radue, Miss Arla Mae Radue, Chili; August Radue, Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, Marshfield; Herman Radue, Beaver Dam; Erwin Krause and Mrs. Clara Krause, Granton, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Seebandt, Loyal; Mrs. Helen Seebandt, Mrs. Allen Gutenberger, Mrs. Alfred Boon, Wilmer Lueck, Mr. and Mrs. William Diercks, Greenwood.
