Botnen, Karen* (1882 - 7 January 1957) 
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Ole Botnen, 74, who died January 7, were conducted January 9, from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Albert Guthmiller officiated, and interment took place in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

Pallbearers were: Edwin Allen, John Gullickson, Glenn D. Robinson, Elliott Warlum, Oscar Christopherson and J. C. Moen.  Flowers were in charge of two granddaughters, Miss Marilyn Wendt and Margie Counsell. 
 

Out of town relatives attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wendt and family, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Botnen, Wilmer, Minn.; Mrs. John Christie, Wayzata, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Buchanan, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Norman R. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Frock Anderson, Blair; Mrs. George Dickie and Mrs. Nina Woodford, Black River Falls.
