Finder, Michael C. (17 May 1903 - 20 January 1957) 
 

Michael C. Finder, 53, died Sunday at his home on Rt. 2, Neillsville.  Death was attributed to a heart condition. 
 

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral home.  The Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.   
 

Mr. Finder was born May 17, 1903, in the Town of Weston.  He was the son of the late Ludwig and Cecelia (Kanzenbach) Finder.  He received his education in the Town of Weston schools and entered the armed forces on October 9, 1942.  He received his discharge in March, 1953.  Upon his return to this area he was self-employed as a laborer, and has been employed on the former Judge Crosby farm near Dells Dam.  Mr. Finder never married. 
 

Pallbearers were: Guy Schultz, Ervin Holub, Ed Holub, Herbert Grottke, Fred McCarty, and Walter Jacobi.  
 

Out of town relatives here for the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jacobi and sons, Marshfield; and Mr. and Mrs. George Holub, Alma Center.
