Wolfe, Richard  (05 AUG 1942-11 JAN 2010-01-23)

 

Richard A. Wolfe, 67, Loyal, died on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at his home. He requested that no services be held. Burial of cremains will take place in the Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.

 

Richard Alvin Wolfe was born on Aug. 5, 1942, in Marshfield, to Alvin and Margaret (nee Degen) Wolfe. He was raised on the family farm and received his education in the Loyal area, graduating from the Loyal High School in 1962. After completing high school, he remained on the family farm and also worked for several years at O&N Lumber in Loyal. He later went to work at the Clark County Health Care Center, as a CAN, where he was employed for almost 30 years.

 

He had many interests, but especially enjoyed raising longhorncattle, chickens and horses, and also enjoyed flowers and gardening.

 

Survivors include one sister, Ardith (Edward) Domine, Loyal; two brothers, Ronald Wolfe, Loyal, and Robert (Laura) Wolfe, Colby; special friend and companion, Bonnie Ystad, Loyal; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Preceding him in death were his parents, and two brothers, Tom Wolfe and Verlyn Wolfe.
