Wittke, Erna (12 November 1887 - 23 March
1957)
Funeral services were held Tuesday from
the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Ferdinand (Erna) Wittke, 69,
Neillsville, Rt. 3. She died Saturday forenoon at the
Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Arthur Oswald officiated. Burial was
made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Wittke (nee Bardeleben) was born
November 12, 1887, in the Town of Pine Valley, and had been a
lifelong resident of Clark County. She received her education
in the rural schools of the county and on October 1, 1913, she was
married to Ferdinand Wittke at Neillsville.
She is survived by her husband, a son,
Lester Wittke on the home farm, and a daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Viola)
Garbisch, Granton, Rt. 1. Four grandchildren and two
brothers, Herbert and Robert Bardeleben, both of Neillsville also
survive.
Pallbearers were: Anton and William
Meihack, Frank Kessler, Gordon Sharratt, Elmer Adams and Arthur
Ackerman.

Heimke, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schlinsog, Mrs. Everett Kauffman, Mr.
and Mrs. Carl Schlinsog, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Billman, all of
Granton; Miss Clara Knoop, Marshfield; Mrs. Victor Schultz, Eau
Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Willms, West Allis; Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Wittke, Clintonville; Mr. and Ms. Arthur Wittke, and Fred Wittke,
Cedar Rapids, Ia.
