Fradette, Jacola Julia (18 January 1884 -
31 March 1957)
Mrs. James Fradette, 73, died Sunday
afternoon at the Neillsville Nursing home, following a stroke. She
had been ill for several years.
Funeral services were held Thursday
afternoon from the Methodist Church. The Rev. Virgil Holmes
officiated and rites were held at the Greenwood Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by the Bergemann Funeral Home.
Jacola Julia Mack, daughter of the late
John and Emelie Jabes Mack, was born January 18, 1884, in
Appleton. When she was a small girl her family moved to
Greenwood, where she received her education. On November 26,
1903, she married James H. Fradette of Greenwood. They made their
home in Greenwood until Mr. Fradette was elected County Treasurer
in 1932, an office he held until the time of his death on November
13, 1953.
Mrs. Fradette is survived by the following children: John Fradette, Rushmore, Minn.; Mack Fradette, Sauk City; and Mrs. Earl (Lorraine) Darling of Neillsville. Thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Viola E. Swanson of Spooner also survive.
