Meyer, William F. (25 October 1870 - 24 April 1957) 
 

Services were held April 27 from the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church at Globe for William F. Meyer, 86, of Neillsville, Rt. 3, who died April 24 at Memorial Hospital. 
 

The Rev. Adolph Schumann officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.  Services were in charge of the Georgas Funeral Home. 
 

Mr. Meyer, who had been active until his last illness on April 11, was born October 25, 1870, at Howard’s Grove in Sheboygan County.  He received his education in the schools in Sheboygan county and in February, 1902, was married to Augusta Pingel. After their marriage they moved to Clark County and settled on a farm in the Sydney community, which he operated for 40 years.  His wife died in 1922. 
 

In 1924 he was married to Sophia Stelloh who died in 1942 (1941 per her obituary).  
 

Mr. Meyer is survived by twins, Mrs. Hilda Thoma of Neillsville and August Meyer, who operated the home farm with his father on Rte 3; a sister; two brothers; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 
 

He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Globe. 
 

Pallbearers were: August Klann, August Nemitz, Fred and Herman Dux, August Beyer and Henry Becker. 
 

Out of town relatives attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Ohloff, Mrs. Louie Meyer, Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Lange, Merrill; Alvin Durst, Herman Meyer, Frieda M. Meyer, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Meyer and son, Mrs. Frank Weilbacher, MaryAnn Weilbacher, Robert Weilbacher, Darwin Meyer, all of Plymouth; Mr. and Mrs. William Miske and Harold Zarling of Cedarburg.
