Milton, Raymond Harold (4 January 1913 - 11 May 1957) 
 

Raymond Harold Milton, 44, of W. 17th Street, Neillsville, died May 11 at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital.  Death was attributed to a heart condition. 
 

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Albert Guthmiller officiated and burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

Raymond Milton was born January 4, 1913, to James and Rose Milton.  He received his education in the Pine Valley School and was employed in a foundry at Racine before entering service on June 30, 1942.  He was honorably discharged on November 5, 1944, at Ft. Sheridan.  He was a private with the 306 Eng. Br. in World War II.  He had been self employed for several years.  He was admitted Thursday to the hospital after suffering a stroke at his home sometime earlier. 
 

He is survived by his parents and four sisters: Mrs. Sture (Lucille) Engstrom, Geneva, Ill.; Mrs. Henry (Virginia) Rahn, Neillsville; Mrs. E. A. (Deloris) Casper, Westchester, Ill.; and Mrs. Charles (Gloria) Svetlik, Florence. 
 

Raymond was a member of the Haugen-Richmond Post, No. 73, of the American Legion.
