St. Mary’s Catholic (Baccalaureate
- 19 May 1957)
Baccalaureate Services for the Catholic
students of Neillsville public school were held Sunday morning
during the 8 o’clock mass.
The students wore their caps and gowns
and received corporate Holy Communion. Father Leketas delivered he
Sermon on the Importance of Education.
Breakfast was served in the church hall
by the junior girls of the Marion Youth Sodality, assisted by Mrs.
Bob Shiller, Mrs. George Pagenkopf and Mrs. Ben
Schwellenbach.
Those present were: Misses Mary Aumann, Marylin Hubing, June Pagenkopf, Mary Ann Mack, Marilyn Schuld, and Janice Urlaub. The following boys attended: Gene Boge, Gerry Schmidt, Delmane Schwellenbach, Lee Steinhilber, John Mazola, and Bernard Wavrunek.
