Zahradke, Carolyn, Mae (Marriage - 11
June 1957)
The Rev. Fr. Eisenmann, pastor of St.
Mary’s Catholic Church, Neillsville, performed the double
ring ceremony June 11, in which Miss Carolyn Mae Zahradke of
Granton became the bride of Edward M. Flanegan of
Minneapolis.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. Michael G.
Zahradke of Granton and Mrs. Alice Flanegan of Penn’s Grove,
New Jersey.
The bride was given in marriage by her
brother, William Zahradke of Granton. Mrs. Richard Eibergen
of Granton attended her sister as matron of honor, and the Misses
Rosa Lee and Barbara Jean Zahradke, sisters of the bride, served as
bridesmaids.
Charles Kirchner of Minneapolis attended
the groom as bestman. Groomsmen were Keith Behnke and Michael
William Zahradke. Ushers were Paul Bladl, Jr., and Richard
Eibergen, both of Granton.
Following the ceremony a reception was
held at the home of the bride’s mother in Granton. Mrs.
Richard Gillard of Granton and Mrs. Ray Meyer of Eau Claire
presided. Mrs. Richard Catlin of Eau Clarie had charge of the
guest book.
Mr. and Mrs. Flanegan will reside in Minneapolis.
