Schulz, Arthur William (10 June 1893 - 19 June 1957) 
 

Arthur Wm. Schulz, 64, of Neillsville Rt. 2, died June 19 at his farm home.  He died during his sleep. 
 

Funeral services were conducted June 22 from the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. Albert Guthmiller, pastor, officiated.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.  Arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home. 
 

Mr. Schulz, son of the late William John and Augusta (Gahl) Schulz, was born June 10, 1893, at Huntley, Ill.  He received his education in Huntley and also attended the Columbia School.  His entire life was spent on the farm, and he turned to mechanics as a hobby.  He never married.  For 13 years he was the Town of Hewett treasurer, and at the time of his death was treasurer for the Hewettville School. 
 

He is survived by the following sisters and brother: Mrs. Fred (Ida) Montman, Saratoga, Cal.; Mrs. Ole (Minna) Aspen, Neillsville; Miss Georgeana Schulz, and William Schulz, at home, Neillsville, Rt. 2; and a niece, Mrs. Mark (Grace) Vornholt, who was a member of the Schulz family. 
 

Pallbearers were: A. J. Kleckner, George Poertner, Henry Stucki, Ward Lockman, Theo. Gieschen and Harry Ambelang. 
 

The Men’s choir of  the church, consisting of Ellis Wall, John Kleckner, Harold Milbreit, Harry Hauge, Theo. Gieschen, Henry Stucki, Ole Aspen, Mark Vornholt, Henry Harder and Hiram Haugen, sang two selections. 
 

People from out of town attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Aspen and son, Kris, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. John Gahl and family, Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Milford Tesmer and family, Marshfield; Ed Pinnow, Marengo, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Klatt, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Klatt, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Klatt all of Fairchild.
