Ratelle, Lina (1873-28 DEC 1946)
Lina Christenson was born in Norway in 1973 and came to America when a child eight years of age. She lived in various towns in Wisconsin and was married to Charles Ratelle of Rudolph in 1894. Two daughters were born to this union; Mrs. Pearl Kreiser of Wausau and Mrs. Harold Tucker of Loyal. Both daughters survive their mother.
Mrs. Ratelle is also survived by two granddaughters, Miss Beverly Tucker of Wausau and Miss Kathleen Tucker of Loyal, and one sister, Mrs. C. Carrington, formerly of Loyal resident, now living in California.
Mr. and Mrs. Ratelle came to Loyal a few years after their marriage, and this remained their home until their death. Mr. Ratelle died in 1910. Mrs. Ratelle died on Saturday morning, Dec. 28, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tucker, with whom she made her home for many years.
Funeral services were held in St. Anthony’s Catholic church on Tuesday morning, Dec. 31, with the Rev. Fr. Aloys Zinthefer officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Albert Davel, Ed Kreuser, Hal Voight, Kenneth Weyhmiller, Perry Volk and O. A. Stock.
Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Pearl Kreiser and Miss Beverly Tucker of Wausau and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anthofer of Wisconsin Rapids.
The Tribune extends to the survivors its sympathy in their loss.
