Behringer, Jacob  ( ? 1865-16 APR 1947)

 

Jacob Behringer, 82, a resident of Loyal for 11 years, died at the home of his son and Daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Behringer, six miles northwest of Greenwood, on Wednesday, Apr. 16.

 

In younger life, he operated a butter and cheese factory in Manitowoc. In 1907 he moved to a farm near Greenwood. When he retired from farming he moved to Loyal and owned a hose in the northeast part of the village on highway 98. Mrs. Behringer died in 1942.

 

Survivors include two sons and six daughters. Mrs. Roy (Eva) Vogel of Wisconsin Rapids, and for many years a resident of Loyal, is one of the daughters.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Behringer were at Trinity Lutheran church in Greenwood on Saturday, Apr. 19.
