Carlson, Florence (Anderson) (February 14, 1917 - December 4, 2009) 
 

Florence Carlson, 92, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at Maplewood Nursing Home, Sauk City. 
 

She was born on February 14, 1917, in Abbotsford to John and Inga (Olson) Anderson.  
 

Florence was united in marriage to Lawrence E. Carlson on October 1, 1936. The couple farmed in the Abbotsford area and retired to Prairie du Sac in 1974. 
 

Survivors include three children, Dale (Muriel) Carlson of Wisconsin Rapids, Karren (Lauren) Raschein, of Prairie du sac and Lynn Carlson of Apache Junction, AZ; a brother Gordon (Dorothy) Anderson of Dorchester; 11 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. 

 
The funeral service was held Dec. 8 at the Sauk Prairie Community Center, Sauk City, with Luther Raine and Stanley March presiding.  Burial followed in the Sauk Prairie Cemetery.

 
Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, assisted the family with arrangements.
