Venet, April R. (Neuenfeldt) (February 18, 1966 - December 22, 2009)

 
April R. Venet, 43, Owen, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the House of The Dove in Marshfield.  
 

Mrs. Venet was born February 18, 1966, in Marshfield, the daughter of Howard and wilma (Hoffmann) Neuenfeldt.   
 

She attended Dorchester Elementary School, Colby High School and later obtained her GED. 
 

She married Kevin Barts on June 24, 1982. They later divorced.  
 

She married Roger Venet on July 6, 1990.   
 

Mrs. Venet drove school bus for the Owen-Withee school district and was employed as a certified nursing assistant at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen. She was a member of the Homemaker’s Club.  
 

Mrs. Venet enjoyed working in her flower gardens, cooking and baking.   
 

She is survived by her husband, her daughters, Melissa Kayhart, Dorchester and Megan Barts of Eldridge, IA; two grandchildren and her mother, Wilma Neuenfeldt of Dorchester. She is further survived by two brothers, Wyatt Neuenfeldt of Curtiss and Robin Neuenfeldt of Dorchester as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  
 

Mrs. Venet is preceded in death by her father, Howard, a sister Carmel, and a sister-in-law, Tami. 

 
Her funeral service will be at 4 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. The Rev. Thomas Myhre will preside. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home in Abbotsford.
