Swallow, Edith (4 October 1902 - 3 July 1957) 
 

Mrs. Harry (Edith) Swallow, 54, of Neillsville, died July 3 in Neillsville.  Funeral services were held Saturday from the Swallow home, Town of Levis. Arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.  Burial was made in the Decorah Cemetery at Black River Falls following Indian services at the home. 
 

Mrs. Swallow, a Winnebago Indian, was born October 4, 1902, the daughter of the late George Eagle and American Twocrow.  She was married to Harry Swallow at Black River Falls. 
 

Survivors include three children: Imogene Winneshiek of Neillsville, Delphine Goodbear of Wisconsin Dells, Virginia Bigsoldier of Los Angeles, Calif.; and four sisters: Emma Climer, Nellie Wallace and Flora Eagle all of Black River Falls, and Angel Wilson, Chicago, Ill.; and 15 grandchildren.
