Klingeberger, Mrs. John (1957)
More than 100 persons attending a
congregational dinner honoring Mrs. John Klingeberger of St. Louis,
Mo., at the West Side Evangelical and Reformed Church
Sunday.
During the morning worship service the
choir, which Mrs. Klingeberger directed during the pastorate of her
husband, the late Rev. Mr. Klingeberger, sang several selections.
Some who participated came here from out of town for the
occasion. They were: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Humke and family of
Nekoosa; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Vollrath and family of Stevens Point;
Mrs. Orville Hoffman and family of Milwaukee; Larry Vollrath of
Amherst; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hodnett and family of Withee; Miss
Leann Vollrath of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Karlen and family
of Stanley.
Mrs. Klingeberger, who had spent a week at the Harry Liebzeit home and with other friends, was accompanied to Wausau Monday by Mrs. Liebzeit. She went from there by plane to Niles, Mich., for a visit with her son, Jack Klingeberger, and his family.
