Kotchy, Loretta Marie (Marriage - 17
August 1957)
The Rev. Arthur Oswald, pastor of the
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Granton, performed the marriage
ceremony Saturday when Miss Loretta Marie Kotchy became the bride
of Wayne W. Trimberger, Clark County’s district
attorney. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Kotchy of Rt. 4, Neillsville. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trimberger
of Granton are parents of the groom.
A reception for approximately 300 guests
was served in the church dining hall following the double ring
ceremony.
The bridal gown was of floor-length
imported rose point lace and tulle over satin. The bouffant
skirt was fashioned with inserts coming to points. Continuing
tulle, with lace appliqué, revealed a ruffled underskirt.
The fitted bodice with a portrait neckline was complete with long
fitted sleeves that came to a point at the wrist. Her veil of
imported illusion was fastened to a lace clip cap trimmed with seed
pearls and iridescent sequins. Red roses made up the bridal
bouquet.
Her attendants wore identical
floor-length gowns of pastel blue lace over nylon net and
taffeta. The fitted bodices with portrait necklines were
highlighted by cap sleeves. The bouffant skirts were similar
to the bride’s, with lace and net revealing net underskirts.
They wore headpieces of net to match dresses which were trimmed
with sequins. They carried lace baskets filled with gladioli, pink
roses and delphiniums.
Mrs. Grace Ferber was her friend’s
maid of honor. Mrs. Eugene Trimberger, a sister-in-law of the
groom, and Miss Sylvia Jahr, were her bridesmaids.
Eugene Trimberger was his brother’s
best man. Groomsmen were Dale Trimberger and Dale
Fravert. Ushers were Allen Kotchy and Allen
Fravert.
Mr. and Mrs. Trimberger left on a wedding
trip to northern Wisconsin.
The bride is a graduate of the
Neillsville High School and attended two years at Wisconsin State
College at Stevens Point. The groom was graduated from the
Granton High School, and is a graduate of the law school.
Out of town relatives attending the Trimberger-Kotchy wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gault, Wausau; Miss Meta Kotchy, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Trimberger, Albuquerque, N. M.; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Hillert and daughter, Susan, Tomah; Richard Hillert, Jr., Wausau; Miss Elaine Trimberger, Bonduel (lines missing).
