Pachal, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Golden - 19
November 1957)
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lavene attended the
golden wedding celebration of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Pachal, at Loyal. Others attending were the other three children:
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pachal, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pachal and family of
Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Goutcher and family of Unity.
Grandchildren who attended were: Mr. and
Mrs. Ted Briski and Larry of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Langfeldt
and Jack of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Duane Pachal and Jimmy of
Loyal.

Rev. Pfohl gave a brief summary of the
life of the honored couple:
Mr. Pachal was born in Wausau. When
he was 1 ½ years old, his father died and he was raised by
his grandparents in Kewaunee, where he met the former Agnes
Roadt. They got married in St. John’s Church of Krok on
November 19, 1907. They farmed there for one and one-half
years, then moved to Rhinelander for nine months.
In 1910 they moved to the Township of Beaver, on a farm, where they made their home for 39 years. They built their present home in Loyal in 1948. They have four children, 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Their grandchildren held a mock wedding.
