Todd, Esther (22 December 1898 - 26 October 1957) 
 

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Zion American Lutheran Church for Mrs. Ernest Todd, 58, who died October 26 from a lingering illness.  The Rev. Marvin Beninga officiated.  Burial was made in the parish cemetery. 
 

Mrs. Todd, the former Esther Grassman, was born December 22, 1898, in the Town of Lynn.  She received her formal education in the Lynn schools, and on September 15, 1920, she was married to Ernest Todd in the Town of Lynn.  She was a member of the Zion Church of Lynn. 
 

Survivors besides her husband are four sons and two daughters: Leroy and Edward Todd of Marshfield; Leslie and Tedd Todd, Granton; Mrs. Robert (Esther) Murphy, Granton; Mrs. Kenneth (Alma) Franke, Chili. Three brothers and three sisters also survive: Alvin Grassman of Granton; Henry Grassman of California; Leo Grassman, Florida; Mrs. Elsie Oberhelmanan, Florida; Mrs. Fred Jann, Rice Lake; and Mrs. Glenn Allen, Detroit, Mich.
