A former Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, Mrs. Hans K. Andersen was returned to Withee to be place in her final resting place. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o’clock from the Nazareth Lutheran Church with Rev. W. Clayton Neilsen officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery. The deceased succumbed to a long lingering illness last Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carlos Jensen, in Pittsburgh, Pa., where she had made her home for the past several years.
Serving as pallbearers at the services were M. S. Munson, Thorvald Stigsen, V. A. Hansen, Lionel Thibert, Earl Petersen and Walter Heideman. In charge of the floral offerings were Mesdames Walter Heideman, Earl Petersen, Andrew Olsen, Chris Beck, Grant Anderson and Owen Melin.
Bertha N. Andersen, 71, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christen Nelson, was born on Nov. 9, 1883, at Washington Island, Wis. She was a wonderfully fine mother and a devoted Christian, being very active in the Nazareth Lutheran Church while she resided here.
