Nauertz, Frank Fred (9 February 1914 - 13 November 1957) 
 

Frank Nauertz, 43, of Neillsville, died November 13, at the Memorial Hospital from complications resulting from the flu.  
 

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Bergemann Funeral Home. The Rev. Fr. Joseph Eisenmann officiated.  Burial was made in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. 
 

Frank Fred Nauertz, son of the late Fred and Mathilda (Kipp) Nauertz, was born February 9, 1914, in Waucoma, Ia.  He received his education there and in Chicago.  He came to Neillsville in 1927.  For the last 15 years he had been employed at the H. H. Van Gorden and Sons Elevator.  On February 9, 1936, he was married to Alice Heintz of Neillsville. 
 

He is survived by his wife and the following children: Carol, James, Mary Ann, Thomas, Gary and Larry, all at home.  Other survivors include a brother, George Nauertz of Altoona; a sister, Mrs. Bob (Grace) Paton of Westmont, Ill.; a half-sister, Mrs. Berdella Whitley of Columbus, Ga.; and a half-brother, LaVern Supam, Columbus, Ga. 
 

Pallbearers were: George Campbell, Ernest Gaden, Jess Mike, Heron Van Gorden, and Richard Van Gorden.
