Knoop, Lois Ardyth (Marriage - 23
November 1957)
St. John’s Lutheran parsonage at
Neillsville was the scene November 23 of the marriage of Miss Lois
Ardyth Knoop and Gale Emil Minsaas, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Knoop of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Minsaas of
Greenwood. Immediate members of the families witnessed the
double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Alfred Schewe.
The bride wore a white street length
Dacron dress and carried a bouquet of red tea roses and white
carnations. She was attended by Mrs. Gordon Oldham, sister of the
groom, as matron of honor. Robert Knoop, brother of the
bride, was the groom’s only attendant.
A wedding supper was held at the home of
the bride for members of their immediate families. Two bouquets of
pink and whie chrysanthemums decorated the tables.
On their return from a wedding trip to
northern Wisconsin and Michigan they will reside in an apartment at
514 Hewett Street Neillsville.
The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School and is employed as a secretary. The groom attended the Greenwood schools and is a cheesemaker.
