Paul, Robert (8 OCT 1877 - 24 MAR 1955)

Death came quietly at 11 o’clock this forenoon to Robert Paul, 77, at Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley.  He had been hospitalized since Tuesday, but previous to that had been confined to his home in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) and under constant medical treatment for the past several months.

Funeral arrangements are being taken care of by Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. I. (Lila) Edwards of Florida and Lorraine of Chicago, and four sons, Elmer of Merrill, Art and Wilmer of Curtiss and Ray and Otto of Owen.  One son, Norman, preceded him in death, passing away in a prisoner of war camp in Germany in 1945.
