Ommen, Malvina (12 May 1885 - 21 January 1958) 
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Malvina Kuhn Ommen, 72, a former resident of Neillsville who died in Chicago January 21, were held Saturday afternoon from the Bergemann Funeral Home.  The Rev. Frank B. Harcey, pastor  of the Congregational Church, officiated.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

Malvina Ommen, nee Netzel, was born May 12, 1885, in Russia.  She came to the United States and resided in Waukegan, Ill.  On July 6, 1912, she was married to Robert Kuhn.  Shortly after their marriage they came to Clark County locating on a farm in the Town of Washburn, where they farmed until the death of Mr. Kuhn in 1934. 
 

After the death of her husband she returned to Chicago to work.  She was married to Harry Ommen in 1938 at Sibley, Ill.  She made her home in the Chicago area since that time. 
 

Mrs. Ommen is survived by the following children: George Kuhn, Pontiac, Mich.; Bernard Kuhn, Neillsville; Robert Kuhn, Janesville; Mrs. Michael (Gertrude) Steffens, Chicago, Ill.; and Luella Kuhn, Chicago.  Other survivors include 19 grandchildren. 
 

Pall bearers were: Kurt Janisch, David Krutsch, Horace Rodman, Paul Schultz, Frank Short and Ralph Short. 
 

"Blessed Assurance" and "What a Friend we have in Jesus" were sung by H. R. Briggs, accompanied by Miss Mary Manz. 
 

Out of town people attending included: George Kuhn, Rob an Marian Kuhn, Pontiac, Mich.; Robert Kuhn, Janesville; Miss Luella Kuhn, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Steffens, Mickey and Donna, Chicago; Miss Nadine Schoen, Milwaukee; Albert Mayer, Villa Park, Ill.; Rollie Benedict, Loyal; Earl Galbreath, Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Galbreath, Janesville.
