Brauneis, Mrs. Joseph (15 September 1875 - 1958) 
 

Mrs. Joseph Brauneis, died at Chicago, Ill., at the home of her son, Thomas Kurz, where she had gone October 16 to spend the winter. 
 

Mrs. Brauneis was born September 15, 1875, in Austria-Hungary, and came to Chicago in 1913.  She was married there to Joseph Brauneis in 1928, and came to live on his farm south of the city limits in Greenwood, where she had since resided.  Mr. Brauneis died in July, 1944. 
 

She is survived by three sons by a former marriage.  They are: Adolph and Thomas Kurz of Chicago, and George Kurz of Stevens Point.  Several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
