Rolf, Claus (? –31 January 1958) 
 

The Winkelman and Alvin Lavene families received word last week from Macoun, Canada, that Claus Rolf, 71, died January 31.  The Rolf family lived in the Town of York many years ago.  They lived on the farm that Mr. and Mrs. Tony Kernz and family are on at present.  They also lived on the farm the Elmer and Wallace Erickson families are on. 
 

Mr. Rolf is survived by his wife, a son, John, and three daughters.  The Winkelmans and Alvin Lavenes visited the Rolf family in Canada seven years ago. The Rolf children were schoolmates of Alvin Lavene and have lived in Canada for about 28 years.
