Voightlander, Paul E. #2 (13 NOV 1867 - 22 MAY 1955)
Services were conducted by the Rev. Fred Kollath in Peace Evangelical and Reformed Church, Dorchester, Wednesday afternoon for Paul E. Voightlander, 87, who died of old age complications at his home at Medford at 4:05 p.m. Sunday, followed in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Voightlander was born in Germany Nov. 13, 1867, and came to this country when he was 17 years of age. He spent two eyars in Milwaukee in the tailor business and then moved to a farm in the town of Hoard, Clark County, where he continued to live until 1953.
His marriage to Laura Erler, who preceded him in death, took place at Curtiss in March 1891. For the past two years he made his home in Medford with two daughters, Alma and Lillian Voightlander.
Other survivors include a third daughter, Mrs. William (Louise) Awe, Owen; two sons, Elmer, Medford, and Henry, Curtiss; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother, Frank, San Francisco, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Burkhardt, Germany. One sister and four brothers preceded her in death.
