Yearling, Kenneth (29 September 1906 - 23 March 1958)   
 

Kenneth Yearling, 51, of Rt. 1, Merrillan, Died March 23 in Neillsville as the result of a heart ailment. 
 

The son of Henry and Emma (Johnson) Yearling, he was born September 29, 1906, at New Hampton, Ia.  He received his education in rural schools in Iowa and later worked for his father on a farm.  He later was employed in Chicago, where he was married June 9, 1934, to the former Eleanore Poss.  In 1955 they came to their present home in Hatfield, where he operated a tavern business. 
 

He served three years with the National Guard while in Chicago.   
 

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Sam (Vivian) Scire, Chicago; and a son, Kenneth, in the armed forces.  Also surviving are his mother Emma Yearling of New Hampton, Ia., and the following sisters and brothers: Earl, Raymond and Claude Yearling, all of Chicago; Lowell Yearling, Waterloo, Ia.; Mrs. Orlando (Leona) Johnson, Manly, Ia.; Mrs. Maynard (Dorothy) Douglas, Mrs. Carl (Lucille) Josephson, and Mrs. Jake (Gladys) Beckman, all of New Hampton, Ia.; and a grandchild. 
 

Funeral services are tentatively set for this (Thursday) afternoon in New Hampton, with burial to take place there.  The body was taken Monday noon from the Bergemann Funeral Home to New Hampton.
