Schoettler, Alvina (15 July 1884 - 18
March 1958)
Mrs. Ernest Schoettler, 73, died at her
home in Loyal, March 18. She had been ill for the past
year.
Funeral services were held from Trinity
Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. John Pfohl officiated,
and burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
The former Alvina Fravert was born in the
Town of Warner July 15, 1884. She was married to Ernest Schoettler
September 12, 1906, in Greenwood. They farmed for many years
in the Town of Beaver, and moved into the city of Loyal over nine
years ago.
Survivors are her husband, two daughters,
Mrs. Leona Zeier of Wausau, and Mrs. Jack (Evelyn) Schweiger of
Loyal; a son, Donald of Green Bay; two brothers, Albert and Otto
Fravert of Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Warner and Mrs. Anna
Plath of Racine; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Joe Pachal, Elmer
Zimmerman, Ted Abel, Philip Vollrath, Leroy and Orlin
Fravert. Mrs. Verland Dux and Mrs. Erwin Dux sang, and Mrs.
Carol Noeldner was the accompanist.
Relatives came from Racine, Cudahy, DePere, and many from surrounding areas.
