Korenchan, Karolina (11 September 1881 - 26 March 1958) 
 

Karolina Korenchan was born on September 11, 1881, and died at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rissky, 6516 S. Justine, Chicago, on March 22.  Services were held from the Hill Funeral Home, Greenwood, March 26, with interment at Willard in the Slovenian Cemetery. 
 

Mrs. Korenchan was a Willard resident until her health failed several yeas ago.  Since that time she made her home with her daughter, Caroline Rissky, and died there in her sleep. 
 

Many relatives and friends came to see her while resting at the chapel at 5652 South Asland Avenue, Chicago. Among the Waukegan relatives attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hladnik, Mrs. Michael Opeka and daughter, Mrs. Ig. Krizay, and John and Antoinette Hladnik.  
 

Karolina Korenchan was the wife of the late Andrew; mother of Andrew, Caroline Rissky, John, and the late Frances; sister of Julia Hann; and the grandmother of 10.
