Holtz, Milda (18 February 1883 - 13 April
1958)
Mrs. Milda Holtz, 75, of Neillsville died
here Sunday. She had been a hospital patient since February
27.
Funeral services are to be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. from the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church.
The Rev. George Grether will officiate. Burial will be made in the
Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Holtz, the former Milda Schnabel,
was born February 18, 1883, in the Town of Grant, daughter of the
late Ernest and Pauline (Micken) Schnabel. She received her
education in the Town of Grant schools and lived on the home farm
before and after her marriage. On June 28, 1904, she was
married to Gust Holtz in Neillsville. After farming for 45
years they moved to the city in 1913.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs.
Lena Schnabel of Neillsville and several nieces and
nephews.
Mrs. Holtz was a member of the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church and was a charter member of the Women’s Guild.
