Riedel, Minnie C. (5 May 1873 - 27 April
1958)
Mrs. Minnie C. Riedel, 84, Granton, died
April 27 at the Bethel Convalescent Home at Arpin of old age
complications. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday
afternoon from the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev.
L. E. Schreiber officiated and burial was made in the parish
cemetery.
Mrs. Riedel, the former Minnie Lemke, was
born May 5, 1873, in Germany. She was married February 13,
1894, in Granton to Gustave C. Riedel, and resided in the Town of
Lynn for 58 years.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran
Church and an honorary member of its Ladies Aid.
She is survived by two sons; Walter of
Lynn and Elmer Riedel of Marshfield. Also surviving are three
grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two brothers, William
Lemke of Milwaukee, and Fred Lemke of Owen.
Pallbearers were: Martin Krause, Louis
and Arno Winter, Amos Yankee, Dan and Raymond Nickel.
Funeral arrangements were made by Gilbertson Funeral Home of Granton.
