Dietz, Myra (8 August 1912 - 23 April
1958)
Funeral services were held Saturday
afternoon from the Zion Lutheran Church at Granton for Mrs. Fred (Myra) Dietz, 45, who died April 23, from complications. The
Rev. Marvin A. Beninga officiated, and burial was made in the Town
of Grant Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the
Georgas Funeral Home, Neillsville.
Mrs. Dietz, the former Myra Schultz, was born August 8, 1912, in the Town of Grant, where she resided throughout her life. She attended Town of Grant schools and was a graduate of the Neillsville High School.
On August 26, 1932, she was married to
Fred Dietz in Neillsville.
She became ill on October 20, and had
been in poor health since.
She is survived by her husband and three
daughters: Violet of Fond du Lac; Margie and Deloras, both at
home. Other survivors are her father, Albert Schultz,
Neillsville; two sisters, Mrs. George (Ila) Erickson, Neillsville,
and Mrs. Ralph (Lula) Lund, New Richmond, Minn.; two brothers,
Leonard Schultz, Neillsville and Elmer Schultz of Granton, Rt.
2.
Pallbearers were: Victor Braatz, Victor
and Hilton Lautenbach, Joe Mesar, Theamore Vine and Wesley
Kuehn. Mrs. Eugene Thiede accompanied by Joanne Braatz, sang
" Jesus Lead the Way" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."
People from away attending were: Mrs. Ralph Lund, New Richmond, Minn.; Miss Violet Dietz, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Shefro, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rahll, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Stauber, Mrs. Gerhardt Kind, Mrs. Eleanor Weimer, Walter Krueger, Miss Loretta Dietz and Sandra Rahll, all of Fond du Lac; Harold Anderson and Betty Dietz, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Baszynski and Harold Dolgner, Markesan; Mr. and Mrs. Emery Ferge, Miss Betty Ferge, Cambria; Mrs. William Hintz and Mrs. Al. L. Swanson, Marshfield.
