Motchenbacher, Emma ( 9 July 1891 - 4 May
1958)
Mrs. Joe Motchenbacher, 66, died at her
home at 12:30 afternoon, May 4 of a heart attack suffered soon
after her return from church service.
Born Emma Pagelsdorf, she was born at
Deerfield, July 9, 1891. She came at an early age, with her
parents and settled on a farm in the Town of Eaton.
She was married to Joe Motchenbacher
December 31, 1912, in Loyal. After their marriage they lived
on a farm in the Town of Loyal. In 1934 they went to the
Marshfield area, where they lived until 1941, when they returned to
Loyal.
She was a member of the Methodist Church,
the W. S. C. S., and the Royal Neighbors of America.
She is survived by her husband; a
daughter, Mrs. Myron (Audrey) Goetz of Milwaukee; two
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Will (Esther) Rondorf of
Marshfield, and Mrs. James (Elsie) Blecha of Pasadena, Calif.; and
a brother, Ed Pagelsdorf, Loyal.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church on Wednesday, with the Rev. Wendell Bennetts officiating. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
