Cody Schjoneman and Dustin Gumz,
Abbotsford, were united in marriage on August 15, 2009, at Zion
Lutheran Church in Colby. The Rev. Mark Neuman officiated the
ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Val and
Scott Schjoneman, Colby and the groom is the son of Susan and
DuWayne Gumz, Colby.
Cody wore a satin gown with beaded
bodice, a pick-up shirt with beaded embellishments on pick-ups. She
wore a beaded hair comb and carried green roses and purple
agapanthus.
Her maid of honor was Amanda Koerner,
Stratford, friend of the couple. The bridesmaids were Lena
Courtney, Colby, friend of the couple, Jenna Schmitt, Colby, friend
of the couple, Natasha Maen, Cumming, GA, friend of the couple,
Erica Todah, Strum, sister of the bride, Casey Zimmerman, Colby,
friend of the couple, Shari Gumz, Colby, sister of the groom and
Wendy Johnson, Colby, sister of the groom.
The best man was Angel Powel, Unity,
friend of the couple. The groomsmen were Mike Boss, Schofield,
friend of the couple, Kyle Krueger, Madison, friend of the couple,
Kyle Zassenhaus, Altoona, friend of the couple, Kevin Kops, Loyal,
friend of the couple, Curtiss Schjoneman, Eau Claire, brother of
the bride, Logan Schjoneman, Eau Claire, brother of the bride and
Tyler Schraufnagel, Hudson, friend of the couple.
The ushers were James Johnson, Colby and
Ryan Preisinger, Colby.
Music during the ceremony was provided by
Joan Neuman and Kelsey Laabs. The reception was held at the
Stetsonville Centennial Hall.
The bride is a graduate of Colby High
School and is presently self-employed.
The groom is a graduate of Colby High
School and is presently self-employed.
The couple honeymooned in the Dominican
Republic and they reside in Abbotsford.
