Greenwood, Wisconsin High (Graduation - 26 May 1958)
Fifty-four Greenwood High School seniors,
largest graduating class in the school’s history, will
receive diplomas at commencement exercises Monday evening, May
26. Dr. Ralph Iverson, director of Student Personnel Services
of Stout State College, Menomonie, will speak on "Your Job on Earth
or in Space."
"The Three-Lane Highway of Education"
will be the subject of the salutatory address by Isabel
Urbanz. Nancy Cox, valedictorian, will speak on "Why These
Extra-Curricular Activities?"
Principal Clifton Fonstad will present
special awards and Lorris Dusso, director of the board of
education, will present the diplomas.
Sunday evening the Rev. Ira Tanner, of Greenwood’s Our Savior Lutheran Church, delivered the baccalaureate address and reminded the seniors that "making a living is secondary to making a life."
