Free, Thomas J. (27 February 1900 - 16 June 1958) 
 

Thomas J. Free, 58, of Neillsville, died suddenly from a heart attack while at the American Stores Dairy Plant Monday.  
 

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 3 p.m. from the Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. Albert Guthmiller will officiate.  Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

Mr. Free, a lifelong resident of Neillsville, was born February 27, 1900, son of he late William and Elizabeth (Wilson) Free.  He received his education in the Neillsville schools and had worked at the American Stores Dairy Company since his school days, and had been a steady employee for the past 30 years.   
 

His marriage to the former Viola Schultz took place January 24, 1923, in Neillsville. 
 

Mr. Free is survived by his wife, and two children: Robert of Neillsville and Mrs. Milton (June) Schoenfeld of Rt. 1, Neillsville.  Other survivors are the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. M. L. (Helen) Meyer, Neillsville; Mrs. Rolland (Beth) Babcock, Coffeyville, Kans.; Mrs. G. F. (May) St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Harry (Ruth) Zimmerman, Madella, Minn.; George Free of Hamilton, Mont.  He also leaves three grandchildren. 
 

The Georgas Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
