Pischer, Oswald (14 April 1892 - 25 June
1958)
Oswald Pischer, 66, died suddenly
Wednesday at his home in Granton. Funeral services will be
conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Zion Evangelical Lutheran
Church in Granton. The Rev. L. E. Schrieber will officiate. Burial
will be made there.
Mr. Pischer, a lifelong resident of the
Granton community, was born April 14, 1892, in the Town of Grant,
the son of the late Henry and Amelia (Lautenbach) Pischer. He
attended the Town of Grant School.
On October 6, 1915, he was married to the
former Anna Mallig at Globe. They farmed in the Town of Grant until
1951, when the family moved to Granton, where they had resided
since. He had been engaged in cattle buying in late
years.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter,
Mrs. Ray (Viola) Keuer of Chili; and two sons, LeRoy of Douglas,
Ariz., and Harvey of Neillsville.
The following brothers and sisters also survive: Harold, Neillsville; Alvin, Wisconsin Rapids; Rueben, Portland, Ore.; Dan, Sarasota, Fla.; Alma Hrabick and Hilda Woodward, Chicago; Elsie Penwell, and Edna larson, Western Springs, Ill. Seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
