Miller, Lena (13 AUG 1919 - 27 JAN 2010)
Lena M. Miller, 90, Marshfield, died on
Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at the Marshfield Care Center, with her
family by her side. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., on
Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home,
Marshfield. The Rev. Rebekah Terras officiated. Interment was held
at Hillside Cemetery following the service.
Lena M. Radue was born on Aug. 13, 1919, in Stratford, to
August and Elsa (nee Kroll) Radue. She graduated from Marshfield
High School. In 1939, she married John Miller; they later divorced.
She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Spencer.
She enjoyed mending, sewing, reading, and putting puzzles together.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Louise Miller (friend, Ed Mahymski), Milwaukee, Gerald Miller family, Marshfield,
and Cheryl (Tim) Hughes, Marshfield; 13 grandchildren; and many
great-grandchildren; her brother, Herman (Lois) Radue; and three
sisters, Erna (Gordon) Kemp, Esther Masephol, and Dora Brown; as
well as many other family and friends. She will truly be
missed.
Preceding her in death were her parents, August and Elsa
Radue; two sons, John "Bucky" Miller and Richard "Dick" Miller; and
four brothers, Ed Radue, Martin Radue, Walter Radue and Paul
Radue.
