Howard, Archie (10 July 1887 - 22 July 1958) 
 

Archie Howard, 71, of Pittsville, a former resident of Pleasant Ridge, died July 22, in a Marshfield hospital, where he had been a patient for several weeks.  Funeral services were held Friday in Marshfield, and burial was made there.  
 

Mr. Howard, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Howard, was born July 10, 1877, and grew to manhood in this community, receiving his education in local schools. 
 

In 1911 he was married to Ida Gluck, who survives.  Also surviving are two sons and four daughters. There are two brothers, Alva and Verne, and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Geisler and Mrs. Gertrude Martin, both of Long Beach, Cal. 
 

Those from Pleasant Ridge who attended the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Verne Howard, their son, William and daughters, Rachel and Judith, Mrs. Ted Selves, Robert Blackman, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Blackman, Mrs. Daniel Drescher, Mrs. George Hubner and Elmer Lichte.
