The marriage of Miss DeLoris Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Johnson of Augusta, to Harry J. Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Harris of Holcombe, was solemnized at Grace Lutheran Church, Augusta, Saturday evening.  The Rev. Edmund G. Schedler officiated.

Miss Johnson, who served last year as girls’ physical education instructor at Neillsville High School and during this summer as girls’ playground director, was attended by Miss Dorothy Balliett of Eau Claire, a cousin, and Miss Marlene Hoeft of Tigerton.

Robert Harris, a brother of the groom, was bestman, with Lyman Johnson, David Balliett and William Schreiber as attendants and ushers.

A reception was held immediately following and was attended by many relatives and friends, including Mrs. Charles Hubing and daughter Luann, and Mrs. Virginia Radloff of Neillsville.

The newlyweds left on a week honeymoon trip in northern Wisconsin and upper Michigan. Their future residence will be 2211 South Maple Street, Marshfield, the groom being employed as telegraph operator there.

The bride is a graduate of Wisconsin State College, Eau Claire, where she was affiliated with Sigma Pi Kappa social sorority.  She will continue teaching in Neillsville.
