Claire, Lizzie A. (14 January 1869 - 18 August 1958) 
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie A. Claire, 89, a former Willard resident, were held Friday afternoon from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood.  The Rev. Ethel Nulton, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, officiated.  Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery. 
 

Pallbearers were: Roland and Paul Hintz of Willard, Jack and Jim Scharenbrock of Chicago, Sterling Zimmerman of New Orleans, La., and Roy Dunn of Evanston, Ill. 
 

JoAnn Peterson and Carol Syth, accompanied on the piano by Mrs. William Olson, sang, "In the Garden," and "What a Friend We Have In Jesus." 
 

Mrs. Claire, nee Lizzie Albright, died August 18 at the home of her daughter in Chicago.  She was born January 14, 1869, at Lena, Ill., and was married there June 16, 1891, to Aaron L. Claire. 
 

After their marriage they lived at Mount Morris, Ill., until 1907, when they came to Willard.  She continued to live in Willard, after her husband’s death in 1911.  Eight years ago she went to Aurora, Ill., to live with her daughter. 
 

Surviving are a son, Arnold B. Claire of Willard; three daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Alma) Henrickson, of Aurora, Ill.; Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Scharenbrock of Chicago, Ill.; and Mrs. Glenn (Mildred) Berchers of Lyndon Station; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Dr. J. L. Albright, of Chicago, Ill.
