Meihak, Linda Elaine (13 March 1951 - 23 February 2010) 
 

Linda Elaine Meihak, 58, of Plymouth, MN, died Feb. 23, 2010, at Hennepin County Medical Center after a lengthy illness. 
 

She was born March 13, 1951, to Albert and Ella (Meier) Meihak in Neillsville.  She received the washing of rebirth and renewal through holy baptism April 8, 1951, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Neillsville.  Linda was confirmed in her faith at St. John’s April 11, 1965.  Linda lived and worked in the Minneapolis area for many years.  She held various jobs and made many friends.  She loved life, loved her work, her friends and her family.  Most of all she loved her Lord and Savior.  She served as president of the Women’s Guild of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. 
 

Linda is survived by two brothers, Donald (Ruth) meihak, Neillsville, and Dale (Barbara) Meihak, Kasson, MN; one sister, Christine (Henry) Peepgrass, Litton, CO; and many nieces and nephews. 
 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Albert; and one sister, Monna. 
 

A celebration of life was held Feb. 27, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hope, MN, with Pastor Dennis Klatt, the officiant. 
 

Pallbearers were John Meihak, Gary Meihak, Mike Meihak, Alan Meihak, Tim Peepgrass, Tom Peepgrass, Jeff Hayes, and John Stoltzman. 
 

Internment of ashes will be at a later date in Neillsville City Cemetery.
