Funeral services will be held at one-thirty Saturday afternoon from the home of Clara Cecelia Petersen, 63, and at two o’clock from the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee, with Rev. Seedholm, a close associate and friend of the family form many years, coming here from his home in Iowa to officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Krarup, Peter Krarup, Jens Andersen, Sam Andersen, John Potocnik and Olaf Ammentorp.  Named as honorary pallbearers were Dr. C. M. Toraason, L. W. Cattanach, E. R. Haselow, Harvey Weddig, Emil H. Hansen, J. R. Barager, Peter Madsen, Neal Laine, r. E. Gabriel, Nick Lehnen and Jacob Christensen, Owen; Alfred Frost, Rev. J.L.J. Dixen, Carl Andersen and John Jalling, Withee; and Arthur Jensen, Eau Claire.

In charge of the floral offerings will be Mrs. Edgar Alberts, Mrs. Nick Lehnen, Mrs. Al Platta, Edna Williams, Ethel Mae Rittlestire, Helga Andersen, Dorothy Nielsen, Dagmar Christensen, and Esther Sorenson.

Death came quietly to her at her home Monday, where she had been confined since undergoing major surgery several months ago.  Up until the first of the year she had been actively engaged in the management of Petersen’s Millinery and Dress Shop, being the oldest businesswoman in the city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.).  During the many years of her business career she had endeared herself to so many residents of this trading area by her sweet understanding and sincere personality.

She was a devout Christian and although she must have been aware of the seriousness of her illness, kept faith, active and confined her sufferings to herself for a long time, with many of her friends unaware of the extent of her illness until just recently.  In late weeks relief from her suffering came in readings from her Bible, the comforting words heard in her favorite Christian broadcasts and the acts of comforting care and consolance given her by her sister Sena.
